Foundation is a way to achieve flawless skin, even on the days your skin is misbehaving. Foundation is a way to make your skin even. Foundation doesn't work as to make your skin fair. But it work as to make your skin flawless.

Today's topic is about how to apply foundation. But before that l'll cover what other steps are essential to make it look good. These are very basic yet very important step which you need to do before application of foundation. Application of foundation is an art. But to understand these art you must have to take care of your skin. The problem of oxidization, sweating on upper lips, makeup become melt this all complains will gone if you will start taking care of your skin before your foundation routine. FACEWASH

The point of using a face wash is if there is a dirt, in a layer of a skin and you start patting foundation on that so you gonna patting the dirt into your skin, into your pores which can make your skin more dirty so there are more chances of coming out pimple acne into your skin. TONNER 

Tonner is also very important before applying foundation because it will close the pores and also it will help to shrink this. If you skip this step over a period of time your  pores will become enlarge and if you apply foundation with brush, suddenly you will see pores getting enlarge into your skin.

MOISTURIZER

Moisturizer will reduce the chances of cracky foundation. So many people's have problem of dry patches, their foundation become patchy. That's because of not using a moisturizer. So moisturizer is very important before applying foundation. You can go with any moisturizer whichever your skin suits.

PRIMER

For long last makeup and for flawless foundation you need to apply primer. Primer will help your makeup to stay for a long time.

Here, I am recommending to you, that do not use primer for every day basis. Because most of primer contains silicone. And silicone is not good for your skin. You can use primer for functions but not for daily routine. I recommend to you all, you can use aloe vera gel for daily routine. It will work as primer.

So here, the skincare is complete before applying foundation. 

FOUNDATION APPLICATION

You can use different tools to apply foundation and how they will work with your skin. Because this is very important to make sure that you are using right technique and right tool to apply foundation.

Now the technique of applying foundation is to start from the center of your face. And then blend it outward and downward. This is because the natural hair growth on the face is in this direction and you have to blend the foundation in direction of the hair growth.

1. FINGER TIPS

This is the very simple and easiest way to apply foundation. As everybody can do it. What you have to do is that you need to apply foundation very softly and you have to push the foundation into the skin instead of scrubbing. Because if you have dry skin or even if you have oily skin it will irritates you. So dab the foundation and blend it.

2. SPONGE

Always use damp sponge. With the help of sponge you will get a really beautiful natural and flawless looking finish. Because the sponge will absorb the extra foundation from your skin and your makeup will never look cacky. Using a sponge is very easy to apply foundation and you can apply foundation very quickly. When you are in a hurry you can use sponge because in this you never have to do hard work for blending.

Take a little bit foundation on your palm and pick a little bit on the sponge and start dabbing it in the center of the face. Don't wipe it and don't press it just bounce it. And use the pointy area under eye circle and small area.

3. BRUSH

There are so many types of brushes

• Flat Brush : Apply foundation in a downward and outward side. Flat brush also known as foundation brush. Dry skinny people can use this brush because it will go upward and downward area which can help to hide cracky skin. For oily skinny people it's not suitable. Just remember, while using this brush put it in 90° degree from the face as it doesn't looks like a paint. and product look more blended. This brush is good for extra coverage. If you have too much pimple, acne or redness so this brush will cover those uneven blemishes.

• Buffing Brush : Take the product on the brush and apply it on skin with circulation motion. Buffing brush is good for oily skinny people Because product can be settled into pores. And yes don't wipe it just buff it in a circulation motion. Dry skinny people do not use buffing brush as if you use it in a circulation motion and push it so it will highlight your dry and cracky area.

• Stippling Brush : Stippling means you have to push the foundation into the skin. Take a product on the brush and push it into the skin. Just dab it. Stippling brush will give high coverage. As you are taking product and pushing it into the skin with very light motion. So that will give you better coverage than other tools.

And once you have done your face, don't forget to apply foundation on your neck because everyone have slight different In the tone of their neck and their face. And once you equalize the foundation it just looks more even and uniform.

LOOSE POWDER

After applying foundation to set it apply any compact or face powder. Setting the foundation with powder prevent the skin getting oily and also it will helps the foundation to stay fresh for a longer time.
